When we feel safe, we play. Just like animals we can connect without words. Through the language of movement, touch, sound, and breath, we open a space where we meet others without words, allowing each encounter to unfold from the rawness of the moment. This workshop invites for authentic connections without goals or expectations.
Here, everything is welcome, whether it's cuddling, wrestling or playful moments.
Primal Play is a brave space, allowing you to practice moving towards what you want and away from what you don't. It provides an opportunity to explore your curiosity, honor your desires, and feel your boundaries through the language of the body.
What will happen?
The main part of the workshop is Primal Play: a non-verbal practice where you and another person meet on a mat to explore what naturally comes alive between you. How does your body want to move? What feels authentic and enjoyable?
To ease you into feeling more connected with your body, we’ll begin with simple embodiment exercises. First on your own, then with others. I’ll be guiding you throughout, and everything is optional. It’s all about tuning into what feels right for you in the moment. The exercises invite you to move intuitively and listen to your body’s guidance.
Primal Play is a practice from the school Embodied Intimacy and is inspired from Ritual Play.
