At Journey Bank, we believe in supporting initiatives that make our region a safer, healthier place to live. As part of our commitment to local well-being, we’ve partnered with former NBA player and recovery advocate Chris Herren to address substance use disorder and bring prevention education directly to our community.His presentations share his raw, personal story of realizing his dream of playing for the Boston Celtics, losing his NBA career and nearly his family to addiction, and ultimately finding his path to long-term recovery. We share his mission of starting real conversations about wellness and reaching at least one person to make a lasting difference.
Upcoming FREE Community Event: Chris Herren - Prevention Starts With All
- Date & Time: Thursday, October 29 at 7:30 PM (Doors open at 6:30 PM)
- Location: Journey Bank Community Arts Center, Williamsport
- Admission: Free and open to the public
- Pre-Event Resource Fair: Local support organizations will have resource tables set up in the lobby starting at 6:30 PM so attendees can connect with area partners before the presentation.
