Presence in Motion is a 7-day embodied travel experience in Istanbul created for women who want to explore, slow down, reconnect, and experience presence in real life — not only when everything around them is quiet.
This is not a traditional retreat that removes you from life, and it is not simply a sightseeing trip with wellness sessions added in. Istanbul itself becomes part of the experience: its movement, water, history, beauty, stimulation and spaciousness all become opportunities to practice staying connected to yourself while life is still happening around you.
What makes this journey different
We move through the city rather than withdraw from it.
Across the week, you will experience Istanbul through ferry crossings between Europe and Asia, sacred sites, historic neighbourhoods, the Bosphorus, local food, hammam culture, the Princes’ Islands, sunsets, meaningful conversations and intentional free time.
The experience is guided by Hoda, through somatic practice, nervous-system awareness, movement and grounding, and Nermeen, through breathwork, pranayama, stillness and spirituality. Together, they create a space where body, breath, reflection and lived experience can meet naturally.

The rhythm of the week
The program has been designed to feel spacious rather than rushed. Most days begin slowly, with the main experiences unfolding during the day and evenings generally left free for rest, exploration or personal choice. Freedom, sleep and agency are intentionally part of the experience.
Over seven days, the journey moves through themes of arrival, movement, stimulation, spaciousness, receiving, devotion, agency and integration — allowing Istanbul to be experienced not just as a destination, but as a living setting for presence.
Where you’ll stay
You’ll stay for 6 nights at Palazzo Donizetti Istanbul, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, a boutique 4-star hotel in Beyoğlu, close to Istiklal Avenue, Pera Museum and Şişhane. The property includes a rooftop terrace, indoor pool, hammam, sauna, restaurant and lounge.
