Are you interested in Presbyterian Research Network? PRN’s Annual General Meeting is Thursday 12 November, on Zoom or by attending at the KCML Seminar Room, Knox College in Dunedin, at 5:30 pm. The AGM will set priorities for PRN for 2027, and all are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be provided from 5 pm. Featured guest speaker will be Rev Phil King, Director of Global Mission, PCANZ. His talk is entitled: “Ghosts in the Archives? Archival Research as a Work of Justice.”
In 2025 Phil spent time in the Council for World Mission (CWM) archives in London, researching Pacific mission history, with emphasis on what is now Vanuatu. This awakened him to the importance of maintaining good archival records. He will share some of this research, including its personal impact on him.
