About this Event
Planning ahead so there are no surprises or overwhelming decisions during a crisis is important for everyone. For people of diverse and minority religious, secular, and spiritual identities, ensuring wishes are honored, finding affirming providers, and navigating unique options can add additional layers of complexity.
This workshop will explore the practical aspects of end-of-life planning, including how to make wishes known, provide loved ones with clear guidance, and document plans in ways that reduce confusion and stress. We’ll also discuss both traditional and emerging options in deathcare, including natural and eco-minded alternatives.
Preplanning for Heathens is being held in honor of Todd, who passed away in 2025. His loved ones faced painful challenges that might have been reduced through planning. I promised his loved ones i would create a preplanning discussion specifically for underrepresented and often overlooked communities—encouraging people to think ahead about how they want to be honored, remembered, and protected.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
I’m Tee Rogers — your “Time Travel Agent.”
My practice centers on taking the moment when loved ones would otherwise be forced to make urgent decisions during a crisis and pulling it back into the present—creating space to explore options thoughtfully, without pressure, urgency, or emotional overwhelm.
I’m an experienced preplanning advisor serving Central Florida through Dignity Memorial, author of the Identity Affirming Deathcare Directives (IADDResource.org), and a member of the Board of Directors for The Pride Chamber of Orlando.
