Join us for Premier Cruz: A Mountain Cabernet Experience, a celebration of Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet in collaboration with our exclusive automotive partner, McLaren San Francisco. On October 24, 15+ acclaimed Cabernet producers will pour at picturesque Lexington Hills Estate & Winery in the hills above Los Gatos, offering guests an intimate opportunity to discover the depth, character and ageability of mountain Cabernet.
Exceptional Wine
Each winery will pour a current-release Cabernet alongside a rare or older vintage, creating a unique side-by-side tasting that showcases how these wines evolve over time. Enjoy thoughtfully prepared light bites from Oak & Rye and explore a curated silent wine auction featuring exceptional bottles, rare vintages, large formats and VIP wine experiences.

Exhibiting the epitome of precision and craftsmanship, McLaren San Francisco will showcase select McLaren models on property. Known for uncompromising engineering, innovative design and extraordinary performance, McLaren represents the pursuit of excellence at the highest level. Experience the striking visual experience of the cars against the backdrop of the Lexington Hills while joining in the enduring decades-long legacy of Premier Cruz.
The Santa Cruz Mountains is one of California's most distinctive Cabernet-growing regions, shaped by high elevations, marine influences, varied soils, dramatic temperature swings and an extraordinary collection of microclimates. These conditions produce Cabernet with structure, complexity and a distinctive sense of place and have earned the region international recognition. Notably, at the Judgment of Paris in 1976, a blind tasting proved that California wines could equal and even surpass the great French wines. Specifically, one of the twelve wines chosen to represent California was Ridge Vineyards’ Monte Bello Cabernet from the Santa Cruz Mountains. The tasting was repeated in 2006 with the same vintages and the Ridge Monte Bello was judged the top-rated wine.
