Hi, I am Mariella a pregnancy yoga instructor a postpartum transition nurse and a former NICU nurse. I am truly passionate in supporting couples to prepare for labour and birth through movement.
This special Pregnancy Yoga session is designed for expecting couples who want to prepare together, physically, emotionally, and practically, for birth.
During this 1 hour and 15 minute class, you and your partner will be guided through a gentle yet strengthening pregnancy yoga practice that supports the changing body, eases common pregnancy discomforts, and builds confidence for labour.
The session is suitable for all trimesters and no previous yoga experience is needed.
We will also explore effective breathing and relaxation techniques that can be used during pregnancy and labour to reduce anxiety, manage sensations, and promote a sense of calm and connection.
Partners will learn how to offer hands-on and emotional support, helping them feel involved and prepared for the birth experience.
The class includes practical, easy-to-understand tips for labour and birth, focusing on comfort measures, supportive positions, and ways to work with the body during contractions. This is a safe, welcoming space to ask questions, connect as a couple, and deepen trust in your body and your birth journey.
