About this Event
Join Trócaire ahead of the COP31 demonstration in Dublin
The fossil fuel industry is fuelling the climate crisis. Driven by profit, fossil fuel companies and their lobbyists continue to push for the expansion of coal, oil and gas, including here in Ireland.
Meanwhile, communities in the world's poorest countries are on the frontlines of the climate emergency, facing disasters that destroy homes, livelihoods and lives — despite having done the least to cause the crisis.
Trócaire’s End Fossil Power documentary explores these injustices and the growing global movement demanding an end to fossil fuel dependence and a transition to a world powered by clean, renewable energy.
Join us for a screening of the documentary before walking together to the Garden of Remembrance for the COP31 demonstration.
