Learn skills to kick-start your career and prepare you for a career in the construction industry.
This course will fast-track you into critical skills shortage industries (carpentry, plumbing, building as examples) to help build the future of NSW housing and construction. Open doors to local and state-wide opportunities as you gain knowledge and experience through study
Course cost:
* $0 Fee Free to eligible participants, To be eligible you must be:
• 15 year old or over
• no longer at school
• live or work in NSW
• an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen
Dates: Tuesday 3 November to Thursday 3 December 2026
Duration: 3 days per week, Tue, Wed & Thur for 5 weeks
Time: 8.30am to 4pm
Location: TAFE NSW Wollongong campus, Foleys Lane, Wollongong
Cost: Fee-free for eligible students – Smart and Skilled eligibility applies. Students must be able to attend all training days.
