From the moment the disciples said to Jesus, "Lord, teach us to pray!" people have had many thoughts regarding the idea of conversation with God.
Dr. Timothy Keller spent years studying Scripture on the subject of prayer, and rightly reminds the reader that prayer is our response to God Who spoke to us first, through creation and through His Word. We must first listen to our Creator, and then respond to His revealed truth in following him and in prayer.
Reading through Prayer: Experiencing Awe and Intimacy With God is a wonderful opportunity to draw closer to our Father in Heaven by considering Who He is, and responding accordingly. We would love to have you join us in reading this essential book in November!
