CHICAGO — 3 DAY WORKSHOP
October 18 – 20, 2026
A three-day immersive education experience bringing together PRAX X INV8 in Chicago.
Led by Jack Louii & Alan Luna, this workshop is designed to take students through the complete creative process: from observing and understanding the work, to applying the techniques hands-on, and ultimately developing their own creative approach.
The goal is not simply to teach students how to recreate a haircut, but to help them better understand why they make each decision behind the chair.

DAY 1 — LOOK & LEARN
Sunday, October 18, 5 - 10 PM
The experience begins with an in-depth Look & Learn led by Jack Louii & Alan Luna.
Students will observe 4 live model demonstrations while Jack and Alan break down their individual approaches to haircutting, consultation, shape, technique, styling, and creative direction.
Throughout each demonstration, students will gain insight into the thought process behind the finished result — from the initial vision to the final details.
The evening will also bring together barbers, stylists and creatives for conversation, networking and a different perspective on how we approach our work.

DAY 2 & 3 — HANDS ON: TECHNIQUE & APPLICATION
Monday, October 19: 10 AM - 7 PM
Tuesday, October 20: 10 AM - 7 PM
Students will work through a guided haircut alongside Jack, Alan, and the education team. Each step will be broken down with an emphasis on understanding the technique rather than simply following a formula.
The hands-on environment allows students to receive direct feedback, ask questions, troubleshoot their work, and develop a stronger understanding of how to execute with intention.
