Prerequisites: Open to certified yoga teachers. A 200HR certification is required to enroll.
This course is a profound exploration of the breath and energetic anatomy.
Throughout this training, you will:
-Explore the science of pranayama
-Dive into the physiology and mechanics of breath, gaining a thorough understanding of how conscious breathing practices influence the nervous system, energy channels (nadis), and vital
energy (prana) within the body.
-Build upon and learn a variety of pranayama techniques and understand the therapeutic applications of each technique and how to sequence them effectively.
-Deepen your knowledge of the subtle body anatomy, including the chakras (energy centers), koshas (sheaths), and vayus (subtle winds).
-Explore how pranayama practices influence the flow of energy within these energetic pathways, promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
-Adapt practices for individual needs
-Receive guidance on how to tailor pranayama practices to meet the specific needs and abilities of individuals
-Hone your teaching skills through practice teaching sessions, feedback, and mentorship, learning how to create safe, supportive, and transformative experiences for your students
