Prana Yoga integrates movement, sound, and breathwork to cultivate heightened awareness of prana, our vital life force energy. This class introduces a series of yoga postures designed to harmonize the body's chakra system, accompanied by vocalizations that energize each chakra. We'll also explore various pranayama techniques (focused breathing exercises) to regulate and balance our mental and emotional states.
Prana Yoga is a gentle form of Hatha Yoga suitable for beginners, those recovering from injury or illness, and anyone seeking a balanced, mindful practice.Event is sponsored by the Yablon Cancer Health & Wellness Program.
Classes are held in person in the Yablon Resource Room at the Northern Westchester Hospital Cancer Treatment & Wellness Center, 400 East Main St., Mt. Kisco, NY 10549 and virtual via Zoom.
