About this Event
You’re invited to an intimate discussion with Lebanese-American
poet and contemplative educator Moudi Sbeity, including a reading from his two new books Habibi Means Beloved: a memoir on war, stuttering, and belonging & Alhamdulillah Anyway: a poetry collection about language, land, and how we shape our experience. We’ll explore how to hold gratitude in the face of adversity, themes
of justice and liberation through a spiritual framework of compassion, forgiveness, and awe, and what it means to recognize ourselves and each other as already beloved.
