Bespoke two-hour experiential sessions for counsellors, psychotherapists, psychologists and helping professionals, providing a confidential space to step outside the traditional supervision or consultation room and work more deeply with the personal, relational and somatic dimensions of therapeutic practice.Sessions may support practitioners who are feeling stuck in their work, carrying the emotional impact of complex clinical material, experiencing stress or practitioner depletion, seeking space for nervous-system regulation and recovery, or wanting to explore clinical and professional dynamics through experiential supervision.
Working experientially alongside horses can bring another dimension to reflective practice. Patterns of relationship, boundaries, embodied responses and unconscious dynamics may become available to explore in the moment, creating opportunities to consider what is happening within the practitioner, within therapeutic relationships and within the wider clinical system.
Sessions can therefore be individually formulated around experiential clinical supervision, practitioner wellbeing and burnout recovery, professional reflection, or the opportunity to experience Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy personally and deepen understanding of the approach through direct experience.

HOW IT WORKS
The process begins with a free 15-minute video consultation, providing an opportunity to discuss what is bringing you to the work, what you would like to gain from the experience, and whether this type of session is an appropriate fit.
This is followed by a 25-minute online preparation session (£50) to explore the focus in greater depth and formulate the experiential work in advance.
The two-hour Equine-Facilitated Practitioner Session (£300) then takes place in the South Lakes. All work is ground-based and no previous horse experience is required.
South Lakes | 21st & 28th October
(Limited spaces also available in West Sussex on 15th October).
