Join SwaminiJi for an experience in listening, chanting, and singing along to some of the most profound phrases extolling the sacredness of the Mother. This session is formatted as both Bhajan (lyrical, structured, song-like meditations presented to the listener for their contemplation) and Kirtan (participatory, call-and-response chanting of mantras.) Students will be introduced to several important Devi mantram including Ayi Giri, Devi Suktam, Durga Suktam, Durga Chalisa, and more. Don’t worry about not knowing or not having experience - that’s what kirtan is for! Together, through sacred sound, we uplift hearts and minds into a collective, communal, conscious energy of devotion.

~ Each student attending needs their own registration
~ Please park on the semi-circle in front of the Ashram. Additional parking is available behind the Ashram and in the side lot by the gardens.
~ Entry to the Ashram is through the front doors only.

* Please remove your shoes and leave them in the hallway
* Please have your shoulders covered when not practicing yoga
* Please speak softly and respectfully
* No food or drink should be brought into alter rooms
* Please leave water bottles in the hallway
* Please do not touch the stained glass in the Saraswati Mandir
