About this Event
Practically Cryptic is a fundraiser show centered around queer disabled performers. Each act will include a mobility aid, and each performer has the chance to share what their act means to them!
This show will directly support local disabled community members that are struggling financially, as well as @queerdisabilityaid on instagram.
Queer Disability Aid is an initiative dedicated to bringing help and support to marginalized communities in all 5 boroughs! They provide a variety of services directly to community members with the help of volunteers and donations! 50% of all proceeds from this event will go directly towards making these services more accessible!
⚠️ACCESSIBILITY INFO⚠️
A limited number of masks will be provided. Masks are required by audience members+coordinators, to allow the cast the option to perform maskless.
We are trying to secure air filters/purifiers for the space!
There will be disability coordinators to assist with various tasks. Disability coordinators will be wearing glow sticks to be easily identifiable if help is needed!
- Space for performers will be sectioned off for safety during performances, please be cautious of physical barriers, if you need assistance, please ask a disability coordinator or the host!
- Disability coordinators will be able to physically assist you in the space, if needed, as well as handle any questions or concerns!
- There will be a specific area in the space for audience members in wheelchairs to be seated to allow everyone access to see and experience the show!
