Joe Pomeroy would like to invite you to come on out for the first unofficial PR100. What is the PR100? It's a century ride around Perimeter Road at SCTAC in Greenville, SC. 14 laps will make 100 miles and about 5000 ft of climbing in total. If you have never ridden a full century, here is an opportunity to do so in a safe location. Every 7.2 miles you will pass by your parked car and porta potties so no worries about not having enough food or drink or bathroom facilities. Stock up a cooler to keep in your car. If you need a break, take one. If you only want to ride a few laps, come on out and paceline with other riders. This is not a race. This is not an official event. It's a cool idea and excuse to do a century with fellow riders. Hopefully we can get some good pacelines formed to make it easier for everyone. For those that do complete the PR100 we have a sweet decal for you.
Sunday May 15th roll time at 8:30 AM. Clockwise direction. Rain date is Sunday May 22nd. Same roll time.
Post here if you are interested.
(Note: This ride is not sponsored or sanctioned by the Greenville Spinners Bicycle Club)
