Women's Leadership Dinner
A gathering centered on women's leadership and the ways directly impacted women continue to shape the direction of this work, in policy, in narrative, and in the organizations carrying it.
We are honored to welcome Dr. Talitha LeFlouria, author of Searching for Jane Crow, whose scholarship on Black women and the carceral system reaches back to the convict labor era and reframes how we understand who this system has always been built to hold.
She is joined by Dr. Nneka Jones Tapia, FICPFM Deputy Director Savannah Taylor, FICPFM Operations Manager Chandtisse McClaurin, FICPFM Executive Assistant Julissa Ferraro, and other women shaping policy and leadership across the movement.
Dinner is served, and the evening is built to leave room for the conversations that happen between the remarks.
