Come along for a very special celebration of community, creativity and clay — with a bowl of soup thrown in!
The Catherine Mitchell Pottery Club has been busy making a collection of beautiful, hand-crafted soup bowls from red clay. Every bowl is different. Every bowl is unique. And every bowl reflects the maker who created it.
On Saturday 24 October, from 8.30am–1pm, come to the Art Centre at 32 Putiki Road, choose your favourite bowl, fill it with delicious soup, enjoy the company — and then take your bowl home with you.

🎨 Every bowl is one-of-a-kind.
💛 Bowls are all reasonably priced.
☀️ And every purchase helps put solar panels on the Art Centre roof.
The solar panels will help power the kilns that fire our pottery into the future — turning sunshine into ceramics and helping make our community art centre a little more sustainable along the way.
It’s a fundraiser, but it’s also a celebration of the wonderfully different people who make up our pottery club — different hands, different ideas, different ways of working, all coming together in one very special collection.
