Join us every Thursday evening for Pottery After Dark—a relaxed, candlelit date night featuring pottery painting or Wheel Throwing, mood music and a cozy atmosphere at our Desert Inn studio.
Bring your partner, your best friend or someone you’ve been meaning to spend more time with.
Pottery Painting Experience:
Choose any ceramic piece from our studio shelves, pick your colors and create something together—or make completely different pieces while enjoying the vibe.
No experience is needed, and our team will provide everything you need to paint.
Pricing
- $9 studio fee per painter, plus the cost of ceramics selected.
*Items take approximately 14 days to kiln fire and are available to pick up after your text message has been received notifying you of completion.

Pottery Wheel Experience
Whether you’ve always been curious about the pottery wheel or just want to try something new, our Adult Class is perfect for you.
These fill up fast, so be sure to reserve your spot in advance!
Single Wheel = $55 per person:
- Have your own wheel for 60 minutes.
- Includes 3 (1 pound) balls of clay and the firing of 1 piece*.
- $10 non-refundable deposit required to reserve, with the balance paid at the studio.
Important Things to Know:
This is an experience designed for beginners, and we focus on helping you through the basics. Most first-time participants will create smaller, simple pieces like a bowl, cylinder, or trinket dish. We do not guarantee you’ll make a fire-able piece*, but if not, you can choose a finished piece as a memento of your session.
*Ceramics are an extremely unpredictable medium and we are unable to guarantee pieces won't crack during the multiple phases of the process (drying, bisque fire and glaze firing). Please note ceramics also shrink approximately 15% from the time you throw it to final firing.
- Classes begin & end at published times and last approximately 60 minutes to include an instructor demo and a chance to throw your own piece(s) on the wheel
- If your piece survives the firing process, we’ll apply your chosen glaze and complete the final glaze firing. Total turnaround time is approximately 4-6 weeks before your piece is ready for pick-up.
- If time permits, additional clay can be purchased for $5 per pound and additional pieces you want to glaze and fire can be added for $15 each.
Before You Register:
- No cancels/reschedules within 48 hours of the class
- No credits, refunds or reschedules are permitted in the event of a no-show/late arrival.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early to check-in and select aprons.
- Ages 16 and up.
- All people in class must be registered, no spectators
- No open-toed shoes.
- Fingernails may get dirty or break.
- Wear comfortable clothing that can get messy
- No loose jewelry or rings.
- Long hair should be tied back.
