The Weary Traveler and Coney Island Side Shows Present: The patio premiere of Catfish Stephenson's live performance film.On Saturday, December 13th, Coney hosted an event to film and document a singular figure in American folk life: Catfish Stephenson.
Catfish has lived a life that reads like oral history. He has been a songwriter, a soldier, a street performer, a master leather worker, an outdoorsman, a hunter - friends and father. His stories carry the imprint of a world that is nearly gone.
Join us on the patio at The Weary Traveler for the first public screening of the Coney Island Side Show: CATFISH STEPHENSON.
This event is presented by Weary Traveler and we look forward to seeing you!
