Stu Skinner MBE is no stranger to big adventures and in 2025 he set out to achieve something that had not been done before
About this Event

Stu is an experienced expedition leader, mental health campaigner and founder of Head Outside, he pioneered Mental Health First Aid in the outdoor industry and has led more than 50 expeditions across six continents. This year, he was awarded an MBE for services to mental health, outdoor leadership and community engagement.

His own challenges include the Appalachian Trail, the Lowest to Highest route in the US, a solo unsupported trek across Jordan and the Seven Summits Sinai Trail.

In 2025 Stu hit the headlines for carrying a 26 kg postbox to the highest point in all 15 UK National Parks and this year he is walking the length of the UK with the same postbox.. He’ll take a short break from his adventure with the postbox to join us for a special screening of his new film 'Postcards From The Peaks' plus he will share the remarkable story behind the film.

Proceeds from the ticket sales will all go to Head Outside - the charity that Stu founded which aims to support and recognise projects making nature and outdoor activities accessible to people facing mental health challenges.
