Early bird price closes at the end of September 😅I’m running a four week Oil Painting Masterclass at my studio in Carmel, so rather than a one off workshop we’ll build a single portrait across four evenings. You’ll see a painting through from start to finish, with a week in between sessions to let it settle.
Over the four weeks we’ll cover:
🎨 Toning your canvas
🎨 Drawing and proportions
🎨 Blocking in a composition
🎨 Alla Prima - painting wet on wet
🎨 Glazing in oils
🎨 Colour harmony
You’ll leave with a finished portrait, more to the point, a process you can repeat on any subject without me standing beside you.
🗓️ Thursdays 22 & 29 Oct, 5 & 12 Nov
🕕 6-8:30pm (finish time may vary)
📍 My studio, Carmel. About 30 mins from CBD
💰$450 if you book before 30 September
Beginners are genuinely welcome, and so are experienced painters wanting to tighten up their fundamentals.
