PORTRAIT DRAWING WORKSHOPEver wanted to draw a face but never quite knew where to start? In this relaxed and friendly 2-hour session, Helen will take you through an easy-to-follow method for understanding the proportions of the human face from placing the eyes, nose and mouth to building up tone, depth and detail using graphite.
And the best bit? You’ll get to draw a face that means something to you. Bring along an A4 printed photo of a family member, friend or someone special and use it as your portrait reference. A front-facing photograph works best, so choose a clear image where you can see the whole face.
Don’t have a photo? No problem! Helen will also have a selection of interesting and inspiring faces for you to choose from.
No experience necessary. Whether you’re completely new to portrait drawing or simply want to brush up on your skills, this is a chance to slow down, get creative and discover just how much you can do with a pencil.
All materials are provided.
