Join Peter Stalder for a weekend devoted to portraits and the nude figure from a live model, in oil or acrylic at Artiloft Zurich.Saturday focuses on portraiture. You will learn to capture the model’s character, understand the proportions and anatomy of the head, and work with light and shadow. Following Peter’s demonstration, you will create your own painting with individual guidance.
On Sunday, you will apply the previous day’s learning to the nude figure from a live model. Peter will give another demonstration and guide you through creating your work. Peter prefers painting in oil, but participants are free to choose whether to work in oil or acrylic. By the end of the weekend, you will have created two works: a portrait and a figure.
