PORT DOUGLAS WELLNESS FESTIVAL FREE COMMUNITY EVENT
Come along and try something new at the inaugural Port Douglas Wellness Festival, bringing local practitioners, performers and the community together across two days of movement, music, workshops, food and wellbeing. Come for one session, stay for a few hours or explore the whole program.
🌅 FRIDAY 30 OCTOBER | 4pm-9pm
Twilight Market | Sugar Wharf + Dixie Park
Kick off the weekend by the water with a relaxed Friday evening of 20-minute wellness tasters, live music, movement, food trucks and entertainment.
Try Zumba, salsa, Pilates, Qi Gong, Yin Yoga, meditation or a sound bath. Join in African drumming and body percussion, experience didgeridoo, relax to handpan and harp harmonies, or grab a glow stick and join a free-flow dance session.
There will also be playful poi and LED activities throughout the evening, before everyone comes together for a Gratitude Circle to close the night.
☀️ SATURDAY 31 OCTOBER | 9am-4pm
Port Douglas Community Hall + Movement Meadow
Saturday brings a full day of workshops, talks and activities with something for all ages. Explore Qi Gong, drumming, breathwork, yoga, kids’ yoga, Montessori craft, aromatherapy, salsa, ice bath immersion, chair Pilates, soap making, fermented foods, women’s wellbeing sessions and more.
And best of all, it is all FREE.

👉 Bring a yoga mat, small blanket and water bottle and make a day of it.
The initiative is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements and facilitated by Douglas Shire Council.
