About this Event
Pond management is essential for maintaining healthy aquatic habitats and regular management enhances biodiversity, supports rare species, and ensures ponds remain vibrant ecosystems for plants and wildlife.
We will remove overgrown vegetation from the pond and stream areas, and create habitat piles.
We'll meet Les Pres D'Auvergne carpark, between La Route de L'Etacq & La Route des Laveurs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to use your volunteer hours and make a positive difference to a protected and sensitive site.
All welcome; children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult/guardian.
Tools will be provided. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy, waterproof footwear or welly boots. If you have gardening gloves you are welcome to bring them with you.
Please bring your own refreshments.
