About this Event
Join Blooming Boulevards and Heart Comonos at the Heart Comonos Community Hub located at 67 Hillcrest ave for some hands-on seed collecting!
In this workshop participants will spend time in the garden learning about native plant lifecycles, methods for gathering seeds, connecting with fellow plant enthusiasts, and then we will head inside to learn about seed cleaning and packaging procedures for us to take home and begin a seed library of our own!
This event is weather-dependent; participants will be informed of any time change.
Register here on Eventbrite to let us know you're coming.
Blooming Boulevards is a registered charitable organization working to increase pollinator habitats in Mississauga by engaging local communities in hands-on activities, programs, and educational workshops on gardening with native plants.
Our workshop instructor Madison Weber is the Project Coordinator at Blooming Boulevards. Madison was integral in helping Heart Comonos and Blooming Boulevards set up the raised bed pollinator gardens at the Heart Comonos community Hub, and we’re very excited to have her back!
