The Democratic Republic of the Congo has and continues to provide the world with some of our most important resources that are the foundation of today’s technology, however they are facing one of the worst humanitarian crises in history. Millions are affected by genocide, labor and resource exploitation, and mass displacement manufactured by stakeholders including Rwanda, Europe, the US, and China.Come to learn more about the historical and political state of the Kongo, how Taiwanese public and private sectors are involved, and what we as citizens can do now. All are welcome!
All proceeds will be donated to Kongo for assistance on the ground. 50% will be donated to LUCHA, a non-violent and non-partisan youth civil society movement advocating for social justice and accountability in the DRC @luchardc. The other 50% will be donated to Kwetu Nature, an environmental organisation based in the DRC. @beni_nature243
