Polish and Politics: a progressive ballot partyGrab a drink, do your nails, and talk through your ballot with like-minded neighbors!
We’ll have discussion tables for each part of the Monterey Peninsula ballot (state, county, city, schools), with voter materials and endorsements from progressive groups. Compare notes and leave with your picks. The vibe is thoughtful discussion, not heated debate.
Bring your Voter Information Guide to mark up with your choices. If you bring your mail ballot, we recommend you keep it in the envelope (safe from spills and stains that can spoil it) until you’re ready to fill it out in a clean place.
Do your nails (optional): We’ll be selling indie nail lacquers for $5-$10. Proceeds after supply costs go to the New Voters Project. We'll provide basic manicure supplies so you can do your nails while you discuss the issues.
