Coming June 5–7, 2026! 🔥📍Pokémon GO Fest is officially returning to where it all began, Grant Park Chicago! 🎮
After its last run in 2019, the city has approved a two-year permit for Niantic to bring the global gaming phenomenon back downtown, with 2027 dates TBD. The festival is expected to draw up to 40,000 players per day, transforming Grant Park into a Pokémon paradise once again. Unlike past mega-festivals, there will be no fencing or alcohol sales, keeping the park open and accessible to the public throughout the activation.
Attendees can look forward to immersive gameplay, citywide quests, and interactive experiences, along with local food vendors, merchandise sales, and on-site activations. Who’s ready to catch ’em all in Chicago again? ⚡️
