Don't be afraid of things that go bump in night... it's probably just us opening a bottle of wine!
Halloween is nearly here! And while we still don't have any idea for a silly costume, we DO know what we'll be drinking. Leave those popcorn balls at home and join us to taste five (or maybe more!) wines from Italy's Poggio Anima. These are the PERFECT wines for sipping while you hand out candy to the neighborhood ghouls and goblins thanks to their labels. On the whites and rosés you'll find angels, while on the reds you'll find demons! Hey, can't we all just get along?
Joining us for this event on Friday, October 30th at 6pm will be none other than certified wine sommelier Shannon Behnen of Vintegrity Wines. It's always a scream when Shannon joins us who always presents a lot of information (and some great bottles!) in a fun and relaxed way. You'll be having so much fun you won't even realize you're learning all about different Italian wine regions!
Not only are these great wines, but they're a great price, too! So whether you're staying in to hand out candy, or heading out to a Halloween party these are essential pairings, no bones about it. Tickets for this event are just $35/person which is a frighteningly good deal for some wine perfect for Halloween and includes charcuterie and light fare. We've already eaten the first bag of candy we had planned for the trick-r-treaters and now we need a little wine to wash it all down. If you do too, reserve your seats today! There's only room here at the shop for 24 attendees, make sure you're one of them! Don't be caught dead without some great bottles this Halloween!
Note: If you'd like to be seated with another group who has signed up separately, we'd be grateful if you inform us a day or two prior to the event. This really helps us out when it comes to planning the seating arraignment.
Refund Policy: If notified 72 hours or more before the event we are happy to provide guests with a full refund of your ticket price (Eventbrite will not refund any fees). If you should need to cancel in less than 72 hours, we can either roll your tickets over into a different event or offer you a store credit for the ticket price (which will not include Eventbrite fees).
