A poetry free-for-all at Bon Echo Provincial Park (exact location details to come closer to the event). Folks are welcome to read whatever they like, be it favourites by any poet or original work.This event, named for the Walt Whitman poem (https://www.poetry.com/poem/38115/poets-to-come), is a warm-up to the 8th-annual Song of Myself marathon reading the following day (https://www.facebook.com/events/1532937385099761).
Please note that although there's no cost associated with this event, the day use per vehicle fee at Bon Echo is $18. Feel free to use this event page to coordinate car pooling.
There will also be a bunch of us yawpers camping together in the Sawmill Bay area of the Mazinaw Campground for the weekend. Reach out if you want to hang out!
