Gather in the greenhouse, pulling inspiration from plants, prompts, and poetry!Come celebrate the four-year anniversary of Poetry & Plants in the greenhouse at Kula Urban Farm with Project Write Now.
Hosted by local poet Meredith Z. Avakian, the first portion includes a generative writing circle, which is immediately followed by an open mic. Attendees are encouraged to bring a journal and pen of their preference, while noting some notebooks and pens will be provided.
No writing experience necessary. Outside poetry is welcomed for the open mic portion. Any special odes to our plant allies are a bonus.
