About this Event
What makes a place feel like home? How can its language, sounds, smells, tastes and textures find their way into a poem?
Join Yasmin Inkersole and Zoe Brown Fasegha on 13 February at 2pm for an interactive poetry workshop exploring place, memory and identity. Through readings, discussions and a series of writing exercises, we’ll explore the words, senses and memories of places that we are connected to.
All materials will be provided but if you’d like, please bring an object connected to a place that is meaningful to you.
Tickets are £5 for general admission (£10 for those able to donate a bit more) and registration is required.
The building is accessible, but if you have any specific access needs, please drop us an email at [email protected] beforehand.
