Hosted by The Evening Muse in the heart of NoDa, this special edition of Poetica is more than an open mic, it’s a poetry showcase highlighting voices from across the region. For one night, poets, storytellers, and listeners are taking over NoDa through an evening built on rhythm, vulnerability, energy, and unforgettable performances.
Founded by DevPoetic, Poetica has become known for creating intimate, thought-provoking poetry experiences where creativity and community meet. Through carefully curated events, Dev transforms poetry into a shared experience that invites connection, honesty, and presence.
Now, in partnership with The Evening Muse, Poetica invites poets from ALL OVER to step into one of Charlotte’s most respected creative spaces for a night dedicated entirely to live poetry and spoken word.
This is your invitation to take the stage.
Whether it’s your first performance or your hundredth, bring your voice, your truth, and your story. This will be a night of definition. If you're up for it, come prepared with a piece that defines you and tells us who you are, unapologetically and without reservation. Expect a room filled with intention, live energy, and a community ready to listen. Original work is strongly encouraged.
