HOW DOES POD BOWLING WORK?
You’ll begin Game 1 in a randomly drawn Pod.
After every game, Pod Bowling evaluates more than just the number on the scoreboard. Your score is considered in the competitive context around you — how you performed against the competition you faced and the field as a whole.
That creates your Performance Rank for the game.
So yes — in the right competitive circumstances, a 215 can represent a stronger performance than a 225.
It’s not just raw score alone.
Your Performance Rank determines how many Tournament Points you earn.
Then the Pods are rebuilt.
Bowlers who earn the same number of points bowl together in the next game whenever Pod sizes allow.
New opponents. New opportunity. Another chance to earn points.
And no matter which Pod you’re in, the same maximum point opportunity is available.
Your points add up across all four games, and Total Points is the primary championship ranking.
