Welcome to this sacred Drum Birthing Workshop, a day of creativity, connection, ceremony, and transformation. On this day, you are not simply making a drum; you are bringing a unique spiritual companion into being. Using natural materials gifted by the Earth, we will honour the spirit of the deer who provided the hide and the tree who provided the frame, offering gratitude for their sacrifice and wisdom.
Throughout our time together, you will be guided through the practical process of creating your own medicine drum while also exploring the deeper spiritual journey of drum birthing. As each drum takes shape, it will begin to carry its own energy, voice, and purpose, reflecting the intentions, prayers, and healing energies woven into its creation.
We gather in sacred space, supported by the elements, the ancestors, and the rhythms of the natural world. This is an opportunity to slow down, listen deeply, and connect with your own inner wisdom. Every knot tied, every strand woven, and every prayer spoken becomes part of the story and spirit of your drum.
By the end of our journey together, you will leave with more than a beautiful handcrafted drum. You will leave with a sacred ally, born through your hands and heart, ready to accompany you in meditation, ceremony, healing work, celebration, and personal growth.
May this day be filled with inspiration, connection, and the heartbeat of spirit. Welcome to the sacred journey of drum birthing.
