BOOK SYNOPSIS:
Grace & Henry’s Holiday Movie Marathon is a heartfelt holiday romance about two widowed adults who find friendship, comfort, and possibly a second chance at love while watching Christmas movies together.
Grace White is a widowed mother of two young children, while Henry Adler has recently lost his wife in a plane crash. As the first holiday season without their spouses approaches, both are struggling with grief and have little interest in starting new relationships. Their well-meaning mothers, however, see an opportunity to bring them together.
When Henry suggests recreating the Christmas movie marathon he once shared with his wife, Grace joins him. As they work their way through beloved holiday films—with Grace’s children occasionally joining them—the two begin to form an unexpected friendship. Their shared experience of loss allows them to understand one another in a way few others can.
As Grace and Henry slowly begin to heal, they must consider whether their growing connection is simply the comfort of shared grief—or whether they might actually be ready to open their hearts to love and a new chapter in their lives
