🥫 10TH ANNUAL PLEDGE-A-THON FOOD DRIVE 💪Benefiting the Marana Food Bank & Community Resource Center
For the 10th year, Valor & Virtue Martial Arts Academy is bringing our students, families, friends, and community together to turn food donations into ACTION!
Our annual Pledge-A-Thon is a food drive with a twist.
Instead of simply collecting food, every donation becomes a pledge. Those pledges are converted into exercises—including pull-ups, sit-ups, squats, and laps—that our dojo community works together to complete during the event.
Think of it like a jog-a-thon, except instead of collecting money for miles, we're collecting food for families in our community and earning every donation through shared effort.

Last year, our students and families collected more than 1,000 pounds of food and completed approximately 30,000 combined repetitions during our four-hour Pledge-A-Thon.
This year marks our 10th Annual Pledge-A-Thon, and we want to make it another meaningful demonstration of what our martial arts community stands for.
The Pledge-A-Thon represents much more than exercise.
It is an opportunity to practice:
🥋 Discipline — following through when the work becomes difficult
🤝 Teamwork — accomplishing something bigger together than we could individually
🙏 Gratitude — recognizing what we have and helping those who may be struggling
❤️ Service — giving our time, food, energy, and effort to others
All food collected will be donated to the Marana Food Bank & Community Resource Center, helping support individuals and families throughout our local community.
Students, families, friends, alumni, and supporters of Valor & Virtue Martial Arts Academy are invited to help us make our 10th Annual Pledge-A-Thon one to remember.
Whether you contribute food, participate in the workout, help us collect donations, or simply come out to support the effort—you can be part of it.
