About this Event
To coincide with the performance of 'I Was A Teenage Bisexual' (part of the Queer Up Duck festival), award-winning author and theatre-maker Polis Loizou is offering a workshop about playing with one of the most beloved genres. In an informal and friendly session, you'll chop up elements of horror and experiment with creating your own monster piece of literature or theatre. This is a space for you to tap into your creativity and play with ideas, tone, language and more. All welcome.
Polis Loizou is an award-winning Cypriot author, playwright, performer and oral storyteller based in Nottingham. He’s the author of queer folk-horror novella A Good Year and has written, directed and produced a number of one-act shows that have toured the UK fringe circuit. His solo theatrical work includes 'Mr Fox', 'You Oughta Be In Pictures' and the Arts Council-funded 'I Was A Teenage Bisexual'.
