About this Event
Plates, Portraits & People: A Grand Exhibition Opening
Join us for a vibrant celebration of culture, creativity, and community at the Unity Hub!
As the city buzzes with the energy of the Glasgow 2026 Games, the Unity for Integration Project invites you to an evening that captures the heart of the "All In" spirit. Plates, Portraits & People is the official culmination of our summer heritage series, showcasing the incredible stories and talents of the Bridgeton and G40 community.
The Three Pillars of the Evening
- Plates: Experience the "Shared Heritage" of our community through a culinary lens. Discover the traditional recipes from across the Commonwealth nations that were prepared in our Unity Canteen.
- Portraits: View the world through our participants' eyes. Our Digital Gallery features a stunning collection of photography captured during our 8-week "Cook and Click" workshops, documenting the faces, places, and connections that define our area.
- People: At its core, this event is about the power of connection. Meet the photographers, the chefs, and the neighbors who have turned our services into meaningful actions for social integration.
