About this Event
Spend your morning with the Sacramento Tree Foundation as you get your hands dirty increasing our region's urban tree canopy, all while making church grounds greener and shadier for parishioners and students. Volunteers will be digging into soil, learning how to free 5-gallon tree roots from their pots, plant trees, mulch, and water.
Tree Foundation staff will provide all necessary tools and supplies, and participants will receive a short training upon arrival. After reviewing safety, participants will work alongside staff, who will verify community service hours for volunteers who are registered on Eventbrite and checked-in.
Support for this event is provided through our partnership with the Sacramento Municipal Utility District.
