Join IDEAS For Us for a Florida Native Tree Planting at Kelly Park/Rock Springs, made possible with support from the Arbor Day Foundation.
Volunteers will help plant 50 Florida native trees throughout the park’s upland habitat. Native trees provide essential food and shelter for wildlife, strengthen soils, increase biodiversity, and create more resilient natural ecosystems.
Florida’s landscapes and waterways are deeply connected. Restoring native habitat helps protect the watersheds that sustain our springs and preserves these incredible natural spaces for generations to come.

Time: 10:00 AM–1:00 PM
Location: Kelly Park/Rock Springs, 400 E. Kelly Park Road, Apopka, FL 32712
Cost: Free for volunteers. Let the gate attendant know you are attending the tree planting.
Please wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable outdoor clothing. We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and sun protection.
After the planting, volunteers are welcome to join the IDEAS For Us team for a swim in the springs. Swimming is optional and at each participant’s own risk.
