About this Event
Plant Club 🌱📚☕
This month’s theme: Folklore, Witches & Druids: Between History & Myth 🧙♀️
Together, we’ll explore the curious relationship between plants, people and the supernatural, and how healing herbs, poisonous plants and old remedies became entangled with witchcraft, folklore and strange beliefs.
Drawing from history, folklore and modern research, we’ll untangle fact from fiction and discover the many roles plants have played in healing, ritual and altered states, and the stories and legends that grew around them.
Expect a relaxed, chatty evening with drinks and nibbles, curious plant lore and plenty of book recommendations for anyone wanting to delve deeper.
