Share extra produce from your garden (or groceries) with local families in need by dropping it off at the library. Your donations benefit food banks at Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, Casa Guadalupe, and Zionsville Evangelical Church.Drop off washed produce in the cooler by the bike rack near the library entrance on Sundays after 6 p.m. or Mondays by 10 a.m. If possible, use plastic containers from store purchases (such as berries) to protect tomatoes and delicate items.
Collections continue every Monday through Oct. 5, except on Labor Day, when collection is pushed to Tuesday, Sept. 8.
