About this Event
Join Us at the Cambridge Placenta Accreta Scientific Conference 2027!
Placenta Accreta Spectrum (PAS) represents the most surgically challenging obstetric complication managed within the National Health Service (NHS), carrying catastrophic risks of massive peripartum haemorrhage, multi-organ trauma, emergency peripartum hysterectomy, and maternal morbidity/mortality.
In 2026 PAS recieved unprecendented patient-group, poliitical and media attention. Due to the UKs escalating caesarean section rate, we are set to face a significant increase in PAS cases in the coming years.
Bringing together the clinical and scientific PAS community will help drive targeted, multi-centre translational and health-services research to optimise and standardise antenatal detection, refine operative pathways, and quantify system-level resource requirements.
This conference is open to anyone intersted in PAS - basic scientists, Obstetricians, Gynaecologists, Urologists, Anaetshetists, Midwives etc.
We have invited patient voices, expert speakers who lead the national conversation on PAS and have provided opportunities to scientific collaboraters to present their cutting -edge research.
Tickets include lunch and coffee throughout the day. An evening networking event in Cambridge will be arrange - details to follow.
