📝 About the Event
The road to the Pokémon World Championships starts here! Join us for a Pokémon Trading Card Game League Cup, a competitive Play! Pokémon tournament where Trainers can put their skills, strategies, and carefully constructed decks to the test. League Cups offer a higher level of competition than regular League Challenges, giving players the opportunity to earn Championship Points toward qualification for the Pokémon World Championships while competing against other dedicated Pokémon TCG players.
Bring your strongest Standard-legal deck and prepare for a day of exciting battles, strategic decisions, and competitive Pokémon action! Whether you're an experienced tournament player working toward a Worlds invitation or a newer Trainer ready to take the next step in organized play, League Cup is an excellent opportunity to challenge yourself. Players compete in Swiss rounds, with top-cut playoffs held where required by the official tournament structure.
Standard Constructed Pokémon TCG format.
Games are played 1v1.
Each player must bring a deck containing exactly 60 cards.
Maximum 4 copies of a card with the same name, except Basic Energy cards and cards with special deckbuilding rules.
Your deck must contain at least 1 Basic Pokémon.
Only cards currently legal in the Standard format may be used.
Current Pokémon TCG card restrictions, errata, and rotation rules apply.
Players must provide a complete and accurate deck list before the tournament begins.
Swiss rounds are used, with the number of rounds determined by attendance.
Top-cut playoffs are held according to the current Play! Pokémon tournament regulations.
Players compete in their appropriate Junior, Senior, or Masters age division, subject to official event requirements.
Matches follow the current Play! Pokémon Tournament Rules Handbook.
Players must have a Pokémon Trainer Central account and Player ID to participate in sanctioned competitive play.
