Dave in the Run is an Indian/Australian singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer crafting genre-blurring music that sits between hip-hop, soul, rock, jazz and Indian cinema music. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Hiatus Kaiyote, Tame Impala, Mura Masa and Childish Gambino, his sound balances organic instrumentation with modern production, blending cinematic textures, electronic elements and vintage tones with live musicianship.
At the core of Dave in the Run is duality — beauty and ruin, confidence and doubt, peace and unrest. His songs feel introspective yet expansive, pairing smooth melodies with raw emotional honesty.
Singing across multiple languages and drawing from both Western and Indian musical traditions, Dave creates music that feels cinematic, personal and unpredictable. Rather than fitting into one scene, Dave in the Run exists in the space between genres — reflective, psychological and deeply human.
